i want to learn how to sew and knit.
as my dear doodoo begins his "exposore" to the field of poker Cards, money Chips, mental Calculations, fiesty Clients and Customers (the 5Cs), i begin my action research project.
i don't want to imagine the struggles, panic and fear i will go through during the next few weeks. i just want to keep thinking about the night where i will be at Changi Airport waiting for him to arrive MUAHAHAHA.
unfortunately and inevitably, those worries that stem from conducting the research proj haunt me from time to time. so i seek refuge in hunting for handmade, self-designed goodies that i've be oh-so-mad about. i suddenly (or maybe not so suddenly) think that MAYBE, just maybe, i might be willing to spend about three quarters of two hundred dollars on a skimpy, ruffley, short romper with gorgeous prints or some other detail that makes me feel i can't find in singapore :)
it's all a "MAYBE" because.. i want to learn how to sew. i want to sew my own stuff, create my own ruffles, bows and lace adornments, do casual-day rompers and puffy dresses, and pick my own prints and fabrics. which reminds me.. for the LONGEST time ever (like for many, many years), i've been wanting to learn how to knit!!! but i just don't know when i'll ever get down to doing it. i keep thinking another school vacation will just pop up, but i've reached my last.
btw i came across on the net today these little felt decor pieces of food and playthings - but what's being sold are the sewing patterns for 'em. i guess that made me want even more to learn how to sew.

on to some larger playsets from buggabugs..
the supermarket themed one for a start... (i love the idea of the shopping basket and the bag, and the cash machine more than the groceries heehee)
and this is a farm set that i fancy more than any of the other commercial ones that we see today. PLUS.. i have a thing for open-up houses, just like the one that is made for usamomo dollies - that has a wardrobe inside for mini hangers with outfits on them :X
and finally, the last-but-not-least feature of the day, a sweetiepie set :X
if a guy makes this for me - it'll be something that might make me so absolutely touched that i'd be speechless. i'm not a fan of flowers or roses but a bouquet of those handmade ones would be even nicer though. LOL. and i wonder if anyone guessed - that it's the handsewn ring and ring box that captured my attention (and almost my heart). i'm also thinking that a guy could make this and propose to his gf with the set, and only when she says yes does he show her the actual diamond ring. what a mean thought! well i'd like to think this makes the idea of a typical proposal with the immediate presentation of the usual whatever-number-of-carats diamond ring overrated. teehee!
anyway, i just sent an email to doo telling him that i want to learn how to sew and knit after i graduate. i did warn him though - that if i ever learn how to sew, he'll see a mad woman in the house.
MUAHAHAHAHA.
PS: doodoo is 3 weeks away from home! :D

Thus I brought the birds out for a very simple photoshoot as well.
Before doodoo left for Manila, these were the very precious prototype bird cage designs he twisted for me :D I love the one with the two lavender lovebirds the MOST!

meanwhile, as i anticipate its arrival, i'm now looking at a baby pink ice cream cone necklace, baby pink furry notebook, and a baby pink furry laptop cover.
not to mention, a pinkie bikini as well (but i'm still hesitating on this one cos i'm wondering if it'll end up looking like lingerie that's way too pinkie for me)
and MOREMOREMORE pinkie stuff that i'm hoping will one day be mine (either made or bought)
pinkie pompom necklace with the pom pom by the side and not the centre.
and pinkie pompom earrings (it's best for me to wear only just one side of it though)
and something that's of a darker pink (which i hope can be customised to be of a baby baby pink colour):
"WHAT'S THAT?" you might ask.. Well.. they're knucklebiters :D and in my opinion, the shaggy one looks more adorably MONSTROUS than the groomed one! heheheh :D they're both the creation of abbydid at etsy.

and the goodie two shoes "Groomed" version with shorter and neater fur. i like his tail more than i like shaggy's though :X
i hav loads more pinkie stuff to share (kiss print dresses and all) but if i do i'll never stop!
