Bershka Bershka!
I like the way Bershka sounds. Somehow it reminds me of how some pretty models Serene and I met yearssss ago pronnounced "Russia". :X So sexy.
Well anyway, Mel and I came across a pair of SPLENDID Bershka heels when we were shopping at ION Orchard. I didn't get it then and when I sought a second opinion from Ailay on another day, the heels in my size were gone. Thankfully, the staff had taken down my details and made an order for them for me - with no promises that it would definitely be available.
So I flew off to Manila with doodoo and those heels in my mind. While i shopped around, the sight of any other pair of footwear reminded me of those gorgeous red heels from Bershka and not a single pair could beat it. Why? because wearing those insanely high heels at their height of approximately 12cm made me feel happy - and everything else that caught my eye and fit me well did not.
It's funny how it took me days to realise how much I wanted those heels.
Well, one of the staff from Bershka called me up last evening :) to inform me of the arrival of the heels and to check if I was still interested in them. OF COURSE I WAS! I fought my urge to go down to get it yesterday (cos I felt so sick and yet excited at the same time) and I went down and got them today instead :D
So here they are.. My very first pair of Red heels (and shoes - yes, before these, I did not own a single red coloured pair in my collection of 40 over pairs of footwear).
These heels scream SPLENDOUR. These pointy toed heels from Bershka have a pixie boot detail (as what i like to call it) - the foldable extensions at the sides and back.
The Pointy Toe cut is something i thought i'd never be able to carry off well enough, but perhaps this was an exception, and LOOK at that flattering v-cut - something I couldn't find in other non-suede-like red heels.
Towering Heels
Also, I measured them when I got home, and these suede-like heels are approximately 12cm high. O_O! In addition, the base of these shoes show a peacock design and that's where I looked to find out that they were made in Spain. Anyway, the white patch you see on the box is termed as an "anti-mold patch". The first alternative to silica gel that i've ever seen in Singapore.
PS: Domo's paddy hand is in the background of one of the peektures. This is the kaypo domo who doesn't wanna miss out on my phototaking session! :X In another photo you'll see a fraction of his large rectangular mouth, but I shall not let him find out that a little bit of that huge mouth was all that I caught :X
