SATISFIED XD!

went out with mom yesterday and i couldn't help but giggle on the bus when i saw something rather shocking haha :X a girl was getting off the bus we were on, and my oh my, she was dressed in a bright yellow dress which had the sheen of satin and she was carrying an entirely-sequinned handbag. also, she had a pair of sunglasses to shade her from her blinding dressing, which i thought was so ironic! did she wear something so obviously eye-catchy just to shield her own eyes from it? LOL!

anyway, doo and i had dinner at billy's after that. it was the first time i went into the other section of their marina square branch.. and it was pretty nice i must say. i love their glittery vinyl chairs!! :) and for the first time i ordered their fish and chips and the portion was simply HUGEEEEEEE~! i just stared and it and wondered how i was ever going to finish it. plus we ordered onion rings as well~ thankfully doodoo was there to help heh ;) whee~ satisfying meal :)

then after that we headed to miss selfridge because i am addicted to their accessories. i saw a pair of black earrings which were the EXACT same ones i saw at f21 except that f21's version was in gold. anyway, i described the black earrings were so hair-like that if i wore 'em, people would probably think i had 6cm hair growing on my ears! and to my delight! i found the matching cuff bracelet of the absolutely gorgeous ring which i purchased from them a couple of weeks ago~! WHEE. i just had to get it.. and i didn't know until it was time to make the payment at the counter that they were having a 15% sale as it was the Saturday late night shopping day/night.. so SURPRISE! we saved $5.40 haha. it came to me wrapped up in a pretty gold organza bag with a satin ribbon drawstring so i said i didn't need a plastic bag :X why didn't the gorgeous rings and bracelet i purchased previously come with these pretty bags too!? still, yay!!!~ SATISFYING PURCHASE. haha :X

doo and i went to MPH and creative as well.. he bought a book and a pair of earphones. i just can't understand why people need mp3 players (doo's was given to him as a bday pressie so no complains, and he had to get the earphones cos he can't bring his camera-mp3 phone into the army camp). i find if we all have stuff like an mp3 player, a PSP/nintendo DS lite.. our handphone.. digital camera. etc. etc.. there's just so many gadgets in anyone's bags! in fact its going to be like an OVERLOAD of gadgets! maybe to some nothing can ever be considered as an overload, but to me.. it is - especially when you can get 2 in 1 stuff. like having a handphone which doubles up as an mp3 player (i really love this idea so i absolutely don't see a point in having a separate mp3 player), and a digital camera (if you have one that's good enough for some days, like the sony ericsson 5mp one!!!!). well of course if i have a great outing right in front of me, then a real digital camera would be the best choice.. but for any other day, i honestly wouldn't mind just using the camera from my phone. =) its more convenient that way :P

and do people really need their portable gaming stations when they know they're going to go out with friends? yes if they'll be travelling alone on the way home and cannot bear the loneliness (Which everyone's been experiencing since they started taking public transport home alone until technology caught up with our trains and buses anyway - though i know nobody wants to go back to those times). but for other times when friends are there, and TV mobile is around.. maybe we don't exactly need those all the time. i think busrides are pretty good for mindless thinking. i sometimes drift off to thinking about really important stuff, but the next thing i know it, its forgotten, which is almost about as pointless as gaming haha :X OMG i can't believe i'm saying this - i used to be a gaming addict. maybe i'll go back to those gaming days when RO2SEA comes out :X!

ooh i'm due for a pedi next week :) it feels great to be able to change colours once every 2 weeks (which means i get to change colours 3 times!). YAY.. indulge. indulge! all to make up for the pedicure-less 21 weeks before! :D:D:D! i actually bought a bottle of OPI My Private Jet for its magnificence! (which makes you indecisive when it comes to justifying what colour it is exactly, especially under different lights~). i bought it because not all nail places have that colour so whenever i feel like i want it on mee i'll just pass the bottle over to the manicurist :X

one more week till the start of doo's leave :X 3 more weeks to the start of school! X_X!!! and one of my dear, dear colleagues resigned! :( it is so saddening because i enjoyed chatting with her so much (at work) and we keep bumping into each other by coincidence when we're out shopping in town hAHA. argh :( and of all times, it has to be when i'm moving back to the branch where she's at.
