kuishin-bo
ailay, doodoo and i went to kuishin-bo for lunch... and i like it :) (so much more than sakura at least). i had tempura tempura tempura and almost nothing else apart from some desserts.. in fact that was the first thing ailay and i went for HAHA and we took a plate full of desserts! their choc eclair was fab.
oh and by coincidence, i met a secondary school classmate yesterday. OMG i mistook her for someone my teacher's age like in her mid-twenties but realised i didn't know anyone that age~ anyway i soon recognised and recalled who she really was.. and surprisingly, she knew that she knows me too haha. well, she's still as pretty as before so i felt there wasn't a need for her to cake her face with make-up, but i guess that's something people naturally put on when they're 20. and she also asked me a question which i felt for a moment, rather awkward to answer in the presence of Ailay but i looked at Ailay and brushed my stupid awkwardness aside because we're close friends and so i turned back to my friend and decided to answer "yes" to her question of wanting to affirm that she was a lesbian when we were in secondary school. the next line that came up blatantly told me that she has a boyfriend now. i didn't know what to say, so i gave my infamous, as good as keeping silent "Oh Okay", because i totally got what she meant.
which makes me wonder. if it is alright to simply stay true to one's own conscience and it's fine as long as the individual knows her own, which in this case is about knowing that one has moved on, why is there a need for some peeps to announce it to the world that they are wayy over the past?
i suppose being in society is just like being in a court (i'm not saying we're like criminals though, though i bet we all like to seek some sort of validation). just that society obviously always has more than 1 judge which some feel there's a need to convince through whatever means.
