to the stateS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can imagine myself jumping up and down if i were talking to doodoo face to face in real life about the factory outlet in MA that i'm planning to visit when i'm in Boston.

oh god. i chanced upon the freaking website of the place and started yabbling on and on nonsensically (to doodoo) about all the brands and stuff tt i'm gonna get while shopping there.

now i don't even know when to start.

maybe i'll start with juicy - feedback from jiahui tells me the discount at their factory outlet is poor and miserly, like 15%. and feedback from others online who have written reviews about the entire factory outlet mall did mention sth about juicy having neglible discounts T_T with advice given that shopping at department stores or the factory outlets for department stores would most probably get me a better deal.

next: ralph lauren and juicy couture are both located at the same streets in MA. i am so happy because i imagined myself walking (or probably BOUNCING) down the street in excitement as i hop from one store to the next after taking critical glances at them to decide which ones to enter first!

anyway, i have decided to use the magic words which juicy has on their website, in order to get a 20% discount off a min. purchase of $200 from their original retail stores and boutiques instead. :D which i exclaimed to doodoo should be fairly easy or reasonably easy to reach - i just need to grab their perfume, bath soak, shampoo and all those kinda things, and hopefully charlotte'll get some wowowear to help me to hit the $200. better still if they have the daydreamer i want. i'll go past the 200 mark instantly.

and then i discovered they have a factory outlet for ferragamo shoes and ralph lauren kidswear (which i feel have dresses that are of a great cut suitable even for adults!). HOHOHO.

there's also adidas shoes.. kate spade accessories, barneys and saks!! WOOOOOOOT!~!

oh and did i mention the place is so huge (yes jiahui u're right! i doubt i can finish shopping in a day when its THERE!)? every shop is like the size of 3 units of local shophouses joined together.

and i guess because of that i also told doodoo that if us cabs were cheap i'd hire one with 3 friends the moment i put my bags down in the dorm, and if they're going to have some kinda briefing when we arrive at the dorm, which i'm sure they'll have, i won't be able to pay attention!

but that's when my friends come in :) they can be my ears when i need them the most but am unable to bring myself to use them. its mind over matter always, so when my mind is set on shopping, nothing else matters.

i drink martinis very occassionally
i can't wait to attend THE TEA PARTY
i want to see a snowflake in real life
i like getting my hair done :)

greedy little paws always get greedier

new espadrilles!

had dinner last fri at carnivore at chijmes. the meat was much saltier than the ones doo and i were used to having at vivocity. nevertheless, i still enjoyed the meal :P especially since there was chocolate banana cake for dessert since it was angeline's birthday!

we also caught "the knowing" that evening, which was a movie with a DUH ending. :( and on sunday,we went with the rest to tampines one, the new mall, where uniqlo resides. nothing caught my interest, except for this necklace from TOPSHOP which i had to get.

am i a psychedelic harajuku lover?
anyhow, it keeps me in the mood for brights!
they bright up my juicy basics too!

anyway i am still in love with the candyfloss pink of my one and only juicy ring. the shade of pink changes and is dependent on the brightness of the light that shines on it. i managed to catch this pink on a sunny day, and these pics are taken without flash so the gold looks a lil dull :(.

the gorgeous bow by the side. pave setting ensures that there are no gaps in between the gems. most importantly, the cubic zirconia heart is not easily scratched, which is fabulous :D

i feel like a princess when look at this ring from this view. it makes it look like a huge crown. plus each of the 5 prongs are crystallised, which makes this a pampering piece to own.

i have also received my juicy smocked romper and two juicy swimsuits and heart-print flip flops. i love 'em all, and can't get to lay my hands on more of their their velour and terry smocked tube dresses plus pink leather sunglasses casing and a daydreamer and everything else and and and! (hopefully a computer mouse and some pretty charms when i get to the states). heeheehee...

Happenings for last week and this week

can't remember everything that's been happening.. but as long as i'm having a good time (admist all my assignments), all's fab.

last week
1. heavy purchases of juicy couture's basic smocked dresses in several colours.
2. presentation of jiahui's present - a vintage-feel matte-gold bow ring (which made me happy cos it made her happy)
3. an april fool's i wished i'd never ever have to mention again.
4. watched confessions of a shopaholic twice. i love the clothes and the changed storyline. but i still wish that the scarf was in its original "enchanting" grey version as written in the book because it would've been so fun to see how a grey scarf would be matched with everything and anything, as compared with the scarf that was used instead, in my favourite rich, luscious, easy-to-match shade of green.
5. been wishing that the lv lime green corset and lanvin purple ruffle dress would someday be mine along with her gorgeous coats.
6. my professional teacher portfolio is finally complete and so is the interview that is in relation to it.
7. am missing salsa even though i think i'm bad at it.

this week
1. worrying about IT assignments.
2. watched departures with doodoo and i teared.
3. went from shopping to shopless with Ailay.
4. got my MAGNUM thumb drive! WOOHOO!
5. still wishing for that juicy couture daisy print daydreamer in buttercup.
6. angeline's birthday dinner at carnivore@chijmes this friday evening. i hope they'll serve the delectable deeweeliciouss fish. *drools~~~*
