finally! :) net is back! so am i...
this long-awaited day is finally here..
my com is Fixed :D!!!
i'm having a prob though. it seems that although i've set the language to English, chinese still appears when it comes to stuff like the Date and my blogspot interface. grr. thank God everything else is in English though! :) cos it takes me forever to read chinese.. and i'm just counting on my memory to navigate around the 'affected' websites.
i'd like to extend a warm Happy Lunar New Year wish to everyone out there! :) especially people like mel, whom i've been neglecting for quite some time. sorry girl! i know heavy schoolwork should never be an excuse.. but i was really busy. i will email u right now!
met my preggy cousin michelle today. she is a happy pregnant woman *tsktsk - pretty in a floaty silky dress!*! haha. and its a BOY! made her a pair of hearty and butterflyly mary janes.. which she described as "dainty and pretty"! a pity they were too small for her. i thought size 5 = size 35.. isn't it?
she cleverly told her husband that i am a shoe-seller and the man of her life believed her. -.- he thought my melissa imagination T-bar rhinestone sandals were made by me! Oh Golly! she's been asking me about flatties. cos she's preggy now and its not advisable for her to wear heels too often. apparently, she's having difficulties in finding a pair that has a good grip! so she's interested in my novo ones now! i just thought to myself.. "how could anyone not have flatties? flatties are comfy and oooh!". casual no doubt, but they're still a pretty good ol' comfy friend!
been trying out lots of pineapple tarts at everyone's places. :X had a taste of pretty good ones! (and HUGE too! GIANT pineapple tarts!) and i am satisfied. haha. mom calls me a "pineapple tart gourmet" now.. because i'm a fanatic and a sampler. LOL. they're about the only thing i eat during CNY (pastries category) and what i look out for include: a good buttery pastry plus sweet and somewhat crunchy pineapple filling = fufilling tart! YAY!
i'm happy. saving my $ up for i'm not sure what yet.. but its going into my untouchable bank account so that's surely helpful! and not forgetting.. i'm on for bah kwa and a possible meal of steamboat tmr! yippee yay! i wish that holidays would NEVER end...
oh. i've got tons of stuff to mention. i'm leaving the whole field practicum episode out though.
shereen. cheryl, jane and i went for a mani/pedu session @ Polished Divas @ Bugis! the atmosphere is great.. but misleading. the nail colours there look so different from what u'd actually be seeing when u step out of the nail parlour!!! we signed up for a package that's not worth it at all, for one, i could get the same deal @ Voxy without having to sign a package and risk losing my $ if the business went down. also, i didn't need the un-complimentary spas included at all. o well. i could only console myself with the fact that i have a 50% chance of getting to sit on a massage chair that i would never switch on AND watch a DVD title of my choice. although the titles available are so-so. AND also, drink apple juice n more apple juice. but for a person like me who doesn't drink, but SIP. and i really do mean S.I.P, finishing a glass of apple juice is an achievement.. so i wouldn't consider having two glasses!
the most infuriating thing about it all was that the chatty manicurist who showed 1/2 of her butt crack everytime she sat down simply brushed her miscalculation of the price off as a mistake. by then, we had already paid. and it was a miscalculation of $25 = every person has to pay $25 more!!! = the price of a classic manicure anywhere else! *voxy only charges $20*!
in my opinion btw, i'm left with a Aunty-ish and Ah-lian-ish toenail colour, which Rebecca said she likes. something which i termed as "Aunty Ah Lian". don't ask me what that meant. i just expected it to look more pinkish than purplish. =/
no other comments. tata :) if u managed to finish reading this post right down to this last line, here's a praise! : U HAVE AN INDEFINITE LOAD OF PATIENCE TO LISTEN TO MY COMPLAINTS! *CLAPS!*

i'm at it again...
what else..? but gashapons aka capsule toys? zzz.
Pencil Caps Part 3... *completed!*
i just pounced on these pencil caps! haha. how animalistic but i just LOVE 'em. part 1, 2, and 3! :D i intend to make my extra daisy duck thingies into earrings :) but i don't know how long that'll take - gotta get the drilling down, the connective hooks, earring hooks. BLAH.
Pooh's Animal Wear Collection Part 4
Pooh's Animal Wear Collection Part 5
u can take little pooh bear out of the costume and he'll be wearing his good ol' red shirt. the best part is, he's standing/lying in an uber-cute position with ooohhhh darling eyes!
the fireworks at the esplanade were so beautiful btw ;) i just stood there and smiled :) the sparks looked as if they were coming for us. LOL. there were some kiddoes in front of us who were busy spraying foam everywhere.. and it was SO irritating to the eyes as all everyone else wanted to do was to enjoy the display. thank God this uncle came up from somewhere behind/beside us (i don't know) and told the kiddoes off. HAHA. *gloats* n its so weird. when the lights shone through or onto the sky.. people just WAH-ed.. or whoa-ed if that helps.. and.. it just makes us Singaporeans sound and look as if we've never seen lights before. zzz.
